Hello, my name is Jack and I'm going to show you today how to do this Pride Cat Eye Nail Look. First, I'm going in with Pure Bond on my prepped nails. This helps the adhesion of the base color and anything on top of it, and you cure that for 30 seconds. Then I'm going in with Pure Bliss Pure Foundation just to create a nice nude base coat for the colors.

I'm not building an apex as my nails are quite short, but I'm just using that as a color underneath. Then on one nail, I want to show you guys the chrome. So I'm going in with a top coat and you need to make sure this is nice, and even so you don't get any lumps. And I'm going in with the star chrome.

It's gorgeous silver. Then with the rainbow cat eye going in on top, holding my magnet parallel to the nails, and you can see the particles moving ever so slightly, and you can see it on my other fingers. The rainbow cat eye is amazing. If you take anything away from this video, please [00:01:00] take the rainbow cat eye.

It is gorgeous. Here you can see it a little bit better because before the light was reflecting on the chrome. You can see all the particles moving. So next up is the main part of the look, and this is the flame. So on this nail I use the orange and the red, and I ombre them together. So you can use all six colors on five fingers.

Look at that maths. So on the next nail, I'm mixing the orange and the yellow on a piece of tinfoil, and I'm cutting my brush fuller in these colors. So to create the flames, what I would do is I would start off with free lines in the middle of my nails to map it out. Then on the middle line, I'd do a curve on one side and a bigger curve on the other.

Flicking it up so it looks like a U. Then I would join them all together, kind of like a French tip just at the top of the nail. A little tip is I wasn't holding any pressure on the brush. I was floating it on top of the nail just to get those crispy lines. Then with the orange and the yellow, I would mix them together to create [00:02:00] an ombre.

Then on the rest of the nails I would do orange, yellow, yellow, green, green, blue, and then on this nail I'm doing blue purple. And it's okay if you make mistakes, obviously this is a video and I've cropped out so much of my mistakes and I just wipe that away. And then I'm going back in with the blue again, no pressure lifting it ever so slightly to create those flicks.

And then with the purple on this side, so then I'm doing purple on one side, blue on the other. This way we can utilize all the colors of the pride flag all on one look. I am doing this off camera. I dunno why. I just dunno where to hold my hand, I guess. And look at that. I'm covering what I'm doing. I think what I'm doing here, I'm just perfecting those lines.

Just they are so crispy and perfect. So again, no pressure on top, gently lifting it up. So you get that flick on top. You can kind of see here, and again, kind of thinking that you're doing a micro or French lifting that round. Stand with a lint-free wipe and some IPA, I'm just wiping off the residue [00:03:00] because I don't want any of the detail paint to soak into my top coat.

So then gently with the top coat, I'm floating it down the nail, capping the free edge. And I'll do that on all the nails 'cause we don't want any lifting, we don't want any chipping, and we want it to secure in place for all our pride activities.

And look at the reflection of that Cat Eye it's gorgeous. Then just going in with the cute coil just to rehydrate my nails as obviously the IPA can be quite drying and look at the reflection in that light. It is so stunning. This is the finished look. The Pride nails are stunning and I don't think they're just for pride.

You can wear these anytime, and that's what I wanted to accomplish with this. Look, you can shop all the products in this video at home of nail out.com.
