'Get Tacky' is HONA's Full Coverage foil transfer gel - it has been uniquely manufactured to our exact design and is perfect for full coverage foil transfers. Once cured it leaves a perfect tacky layer to apply nail foils.

Our unique formula has a slightly less viscosity than what you may be used to making it easier to manipulate into the design of your choice. It does this while still holding extremely firmly in its place and self leveling.

Its quick cure time of 15-30 seconds (may vary) means less time waiting around.

We thought long and hard about what size pot to use and we decided on the 5ml pot to ensure the product does not go hard after repeated use and exposure to the light ( you get free delivery so when running out you simply reorder).

New to foil art?

Try this technique and look like a pro! The beauty of combining Get Tacky and nail foils is that it can really make your nail art stand out. Here's how...

STEP 1: PREP + BASE

Apply a medium amount (not to thick or thin) over the entire nail being carefull. not to get any incontact with the skin. Cure for 15-30 seconds (curing times will differ depending on the strength of your lamp and the thickness you have applied) please test the best curing time for you.

STEP 2: APPLY FOIL

The only tricky part of this technique is choosing which foil design to go for!

Firstly cut to size and place the foil design side down to transfer the foil effect onto your nail. Then carefully peel away; wherever the Get Tacky gel is, the foil will attach itself to.

STEP 3: TOP COAT

Now set your beautiful designs by applying a Top Coat Gel Polish (or regular one if using normal polish), personally i always double coat to ensure strength. Make sure you cap the free edge – this means sweeping the topcoat brush along the edge of the nail tip to create a seal to avoid chips.

Finish off with a cuticle oil massaged around the nail bed to rehydrate and add a further, final layer of super-shine.
